Phoenix-Scribbles

I just wanted to let you all know that the comic is not dead-- in fact it's been updating consistantly over on the main site. I just really fail at updating more than one website at a time.

I will start posting pages again soon (probably at the usual thrice-weekly schedule, though I may do some extra pages too), but if you want you can read all the pages up to the end of chapter 7 at the site, starting here.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused! DA really needs to make a queue feature so this doesn't happen again >:T

You can now vote for From the Machine on TWC! You will be rewarded with concept art that I probably haven't posted anywhere  else-- I've set them to change twice weekly, on Monday and Friday, though you can vote more often than that if you like!


FROM THE MACHINE WEBSITE

What it says on the tin: From the Machine  now has its own website! There are still a few things I want to fix, but the important things are all there. C: Better navigation than the dA version, plus some other silly pages (including gallery and cast pages).

I do want to add a way to leave comments on the site itself without them attaching to specific pages, and the same for News. If you have any other suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Aaannnnd that's pretty much it.

I got tired of the old journal, so I guess I'll post some sort of update...?

I'll be doing Nano again this November, so updates will be less frequent. From the Machine was originally written in novel form during nano last year, and I plan to do the same with another comic idea this year! I won't be starting the new comic immediately, and I don't plan to quit FM, in case anyone was worried about that. xD

blehhhh, first of all, I'm so sorry to the... three or four people who followed the comic. It died... I might still finish it someday, but I lost interest in it and I have no motivation to work on pages. D:
(and the few parts I really wanted to draw were going to take SO LONG to reach... ooog.)

BUT THE OTHER NEWS is that I will be starting Something New. It is far more actiony... part of my problem with the old one was that NOTHING HAPPENED and it was just PEOPLE WALKING/SITTING/STANDING AROUND AND TALKING. Which is... not visually interesting. And very boring to draw. But this project will be more interesting (I hope)!

I've been posting concept art to my main account. I'm going to tentatively say that the pages will start going up in early January 2011. I will update this journal as it gets closer!
